This past Saturday, Jack and I went to Enchanted Rock State Park in Fredericksburg, Texas and took Bella with us. I've been to Enchanted Rock once before - you may recall that I wrote about that trip back in May of last year. This was Jack's first visit and our first trip to Fredricksburg, TX togehter.
Anyway, I was going to post all of the pictures from Saturday's Enchanted Rock hike in another post, and I still might, but since it is furry friends day and all, I'll just share a few pictures of Bella during our trip.
By the way, just so we don't seem like neglectful parents, Madi had other plans for that day. She and her best friend, Carly, spent the entire day shopping with my Mom (Nana). So, she wasn't with us, but I assure you, she didn't mind - shopping with Nana is, in her opinion, way more fun than hiking miles up a rock. I promise she IS our child, but she doesn't have our love for the outdoors/nature...not yet anyway.
So, here's some of Bella's ~ a.k.a Little Egg Whites ~enchanted adventure...
Just getting started. |
Water break. I think it was in the high 80's ~ we were all kind of hot. |
Bella and I at the top of Enchanted Rock, but kind of at a downward slope, so it dosn't look like the top. |
Mighty Beans! {Beans is another nickname of hers - which, of course, Jack came up with also!} |
My favorite hiking companions! |
Well, I'm not so sure Bella thought it was all that enchanting or even mildly enjoyable, but Jack and I sure had a blast and loved having her with us.
Have a great Friday, my not-so-furry friends!
